J-Dawg's House is a person cooking for people he invited. This page explains what happens to the details you type into the ordering page.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or any other personal information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information shared with subcontractors in support services, such as the messaging provider that carries the text, is used only to deliver messages you asked for and for nothing else.

What is collected

Text messages

You are only texted if you ticked the consent box, or gave your number directly to the host. Messages relate to events you were invited to: the invitation itself, a link to the menu, a reminder to order, day-of details, a note when your food is ready, and a thank-you afterwards.

Message frequency. Roughly two to six messages per event, and events happen a few times a month at most. Frequency varies.

Message and data rates may apply.

To stop, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or email [email protected].

How long it is kept

Guest records are kept so you do not have to type your details in again next time. Ask and yours will be deleted. If you reply STOP, your number is marked opted-out and kept in that state rather than deleted, so that the opt-out is honoured and cannot be undone by accident.

Who can see it

The host. The ordering page is not public in any searchable way, order tickets are visible only to the host behind a password, and nothing is passed to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.

Children

The ordering page is not directed at children under 13 and no phone number should be entered for one. A parent ordering for their kids puts their own number in and names the kids on the ticket.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
